Need to finish the install of an Alpine NAV system and cannot locate the VSS wire on this Dodge Ram....any help would be useful....tried the link on this site and it was somewhat helpful....thought that there might be more specific help available here in the forum.

Thanks

This is odd.....I am being told two different colors....your's and then I was told it was white with an orange tracer.  I might just call a dealership to confirm.

What was your source?

Thanks

Rostra Inc. They make aftermarket cruise controls for vehicles. The other information that I have is this:

SPEED SENSE is a WHITE/ orange wire @  white connector 2, pin 27 @ PCM on the passenger side firewall.

Now we have some continuity (no pun intended) in colors.

Thanks again.

Nothing is working.....I have looked as best as possible at the PCM and cannot locate this in the plug suggested...and there are only a few wires in this plug....or in the other three plugs.  I have contacted the dealership and they have conflicting colors....so I am at a loss since I do not retail Alpine and therefor do not have an account number to get the information from them....which is a joke since any consumer can buy these retail and even a consumer doing a self-install cannot get the details.

If you come across any other info, let me know.  There are 4 seperate plugs going into the PCM and the light green plug does NOT house that wire.

Thanks again, steve
