i have a 92 integra. when my alarm was installed they skipped the adding a fuse part and connected the power directly to the line. well my wires burnt and now my car wont start, my ground and power wires seem to be burnt. do you think the unit is fried and that is why my car wont start? do you think i should put some new ground wires. It seems that the wires are ok, but the plastic coverering is charred. please help asap

Check all the fuses, your starter wire is BLACK/ white if you want to coneect it back togeter. I would doulbe check ALL other wires just to make sure, they are good to go.

That's right, time to kick someone's behind. Someone has to be liable for not properly fusing an electrical unit. Your alarm is french fried.

Make sure that all the burned wires are properly tapped up again. THis will a pain in the butt because the ignition cylinder wraps upwards and around on the right side of the steering column where's room is limited. Just make sure that none of the wires will short to ground when you get everything back together again and also go back to the place you got it done and raise some sh*t ! I would. 92 integra wont start after wires burnt -- posted image.
