I got a 96 civic and I need help installing a aftermarket amp to the stock radio. Its weird cause it has a radio in the dash then on the bottom by the cupholder theres a cd player? But the radio has all the buttons to control the cd. It really would be great if some body could tell me what wires to use to install the amp.

Thanks in advance...............

You would buy a line level converter and use the speaker out wires to connect to the converter unless your amp accepts high level inputs.

If the amp has high level inputs then you just take the speaker wires from the radio and hook them to the high level input. Then hook the speakers to the amp.
