Hello,

I am trying to hookup an aftermarket kenwood navigation system.  I dont know where the VSS speed sensor wire should go or when the reverse sensor should go?  Any help would be much appreciated, THANKS! (2005 Escape)

I found my answers, I thought I would post them in case anyone else needs this info in the future.

VSS (Speed Sensor Wire) is located under the hood, all the way back on the firewall at the PCM.  You will see three big black harnesses, it is in the harness that is most towards the drivers side.  You need to tap into the Light Blue wire.

REVERSE SENSOR Use the wire at the tail light.  If you are at the rear of the vehicle and open the hatch, on the passenger side is the access door for your jack.  in there, there is a black tube of wires leading to the tail lights, you should tap into the BLACK/ pink (Black with pink stripe) wire.

Have a great day!

Andy
