I need to know the wiring of the Infinity Gold 6 Speaker sound system in a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. There is an amplifier under the rear seat on the driver's side, and I would like to know the wiring for it also (if I can find that out here), along with how much power it puts out...Thanks for the help.

can't help you with wiring info offhand, but try checking the database on this site.  I believe the Infinity amps take speaker level inputs, and the rearmost speakers are run straight off of the head unit.  You don't need to do anything special to integrate the amp, other than making sure that the remote turn on lead in your harness is hooked up to the factory harness.

What I have is that the Infinity speakers have 4 wires on them :

  • Gray
  • Green
  • Black
  • Red

If you are using a set of aftermarket speakers with two terminals use the Green and Black wires from the above wires. The other two you can tape up and hide away. This information was taken from a Dodge Ram 1996 Truck.

Each rear speaker on my '94 grand cherokee with Infinity Gold sound have only 2 wires - solid blu and a blue/red.  Can you tell me which one is positive and which one is negative?
