I would like to install a Remote start in a 2003 Altima V6 3.5se and use the Factory keyfob (remote).

The remote that comes from nissan controlls the keyless entry system, I would like to press a button on the original remote like 3 X or whatever and have it signal the remote start.....

I have found a wiring diagram on this site but its for a 2002 altima 2.5 is that the same wiring?

Also Does anyone know what wire I need to tap to get a signal for my remote start?

The remote start can be turned on with 1 pulse or 3 pulses...(Programmable)

The remote start im looking to buy is a Crimestopper Remote start model RS901 IV

It says it can be used as a add-on module to a host system, Keyless Entry or other remote controll system

Is that a decent brand??? And will It work for my application?

Please help and THANK YOU!!!

Ok.....First thing Im new....Second In the beginning I didnt know what category it belong in. So I posted it in 2 categories which I thought seemed fit. Then I goto check them and They are gone (you deleted them). I did not know you werent allow to post in 2 categories.

So I reposted them, That is why The question has been posted 5 times. Then You suspended my account and I had to email you to explain. Now I know your only  allowed to put it in one category...Fine....So I had It in the car security which I did not believe was the best category, So I deleted it and posted it in the correct category... You need to relax , Im a beginner cut me some slack, I have never seen such a strict message board, Its not like im spamming.....Damnnn

And I know my original post was answered. It wasnt answered with the info Im looking for! Thats why I moved it to the correct category.

Abstraxx, you are the only member out of the 15,000 plus that has deleted their original post because you didn't get the answer you wanted on the first reply, then only to post it again. If you are looking for more or different information, please explain and continue with your original post.

You also assume this is a strict message board, but it's not and the fact of the matter is I'm trying to help you and promptly responded to your email. Many members that can answer your questions will see your duplicate posts and simply ignore them and in turn ignore you because it comes across as spamming. If I was strict and wasn't cutting you some slack, you never would have had the chance to post your topic a third time, let alone now.

After your first two duplicate posts, you emailed me and I asked you then not to post your topic twice, and since then you've posted it 3 additional times.

BTW, when you joined, you agreed to these terms which includes the following:

Do Not Post YourTopic Twice! Please do not post your topic in multiple forums. Duplicate topics will be deleted.
