I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am. I am having problems with the trunk openning on its own. I have looked at the switch on the door and the one at the trunk, without any luck. I need the wiring diagram from the door switch back to the relay and back to the trunk to try and find out where I am getting and sending power. For some reason I think that I am ground the trunk latch in the harness and causing the trunk to open. Or, I have a computer related problem causing this issue. Thanx for any help that you guys can give me.

Is there any aftermarket security or R/S system installed?

no there is no remote starter or alarm on the car... just the factory security. i have replaced the factory radio, however, it was doing this with the factory one too. i also seem to have a draw somewhere as well which i think has to do with the radio. but the trunk popping has been going on for along time before i switched the radios
