Hey Guys,
Just bought myself a Holden Rodeo single cab ute. I'm from Australia by the way, so I'm not sure if you guys have a Holden Rodeo ute over in USA, but im hoping that the engine and wiring is the same for your Isuzu Rodeo is the same. Its a inline 4 cylinder 2.2L Isuzu unleaded engine with what seems a multipack ignition coil system. Im only used to working on motors with one coil so this one has me stumped on how I am to locate the tacho wire from all four coils. I've searched this forum and I did find this:
1999 Isuzu Rodeo Cruise Control Information
TachBLACK/ Red 22 Pin Connector in Driver's Kick Panel

The tacho i have is just a four wire, with 4-6-8 cyl selction on the back. I'm pretty sure the wires are:

Power +12V
Ground -
Tach/coil signal
Illumination

Can someone confirm that the BLACK/ red wire in the kick panel (if its there, or where do i find it?) is the signal wire i need, and is the 4cyl setting on the switch the one i need for this case too? My boss said that there is a possiblilty that the coils are in pairs, so there is two multipack units each running two coils? Is this the case?

Thanks in advance.
Jake
