I had this installed in my cadillac awhile ago.I let the car sit and the battery went dead.Well,i when i installed a new battery,the TV worked but when i tried the CD player,ERROR came up on the screen and no sound.Does it have to be reset? It's been out of the car for over 1 yr now(sold car),but i may be looking to sell it.Thanks

Try to find a reset button behind the face plate. I know some HU's have this reset option for decks but not sure about the Emerson's.
