Ok so everything is in and everything seems to be working fine except the navigation. When we first started it there is a warning to not cut power untill the installation is complete, well we did and now we get to the little caution message and everything but when the screen comes up to set time, we can't scroll down or up or anywhere for that matter. We tested the ground on the parking brake lead and everything is cool and "this function is not available while driving" does not appear. We simply cannot scroll up or down to complete the installation. Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!!!!

First how are you controlling the unit? Remote control or touch screen?
I setup my Avic-80 with the pioneer 8000 brain and non-touch screen. I had to buy a separate remote to control the unit. The remote from the 8000 did not control the navi. One test is the little steering wheel remote they give you. See if you get the voice prompt when you hit the voice command button. That will let you know if the system is waiting for a command.
