I did a search on allowing viedo while driving, and everyone is saying ground this/that.  I got my Alpine D900 (used), and it came with a Black Box R2 (not the Pac Tr7)  which I have seen are all over ebay.  Onle prob is, there are no directions to hook it up.  It is a small box with a red and green light on it.  There are cables with the colors: red, green, blue, white, brown and black coming out of it.  There is also a switch that has a red and a black wire coming out of it (kind of like a toggle switch).

On the Alpine unit the only wires that I don't have connected are the yellow/black and the yellow/blue, which are the obvious parking and hand brake wires.

if anyone has this Alpine/Black Box R2 combo, please let me know how to hook it up.

THANKS!!

I emailed the guy who has been selling these, and he didn't respond.

Red-12V accessory

white-foot brake(yellow/black wire)

green-hand brake(yellow/blue wire)

blue-remote turn on

black-ground

brown-ground

If you want to add the toggle switch put it inline with the green from the R2 and the yellow and blue hand brake wire. This will give you the option of shutting off the video play if you choose.
