When you say it is just the monitor do you mean just the monitor or just a flip down monitor??? If it really is just a monitor then don't do it or come up with alternatives. Certified Security Specialist

I am sorry yes a flip SoundAdvice was also a flipdown.  I have not put on that big a vehicle that expensive.

Does it have a sunroof? These cars are a bit tight with a sunroof, but nothing too crazy. The last one I did I rivetted metal straps from the front sunroof beam, to the rear sunroof beam, and mounted the tv with metal screws and speed clips. Tightened things up a lot better than just hanging the tv on the headliner. If it doesn't have a sunroof, you can easily use the OEM roof braces to your advantage and either get a direct shot on the beam or use the beam to anchor some metal or wood. Can't recall offhand what they look like up there without a sunroof don't think I've ever done one without a sunroof. Also does the monitor come with a shroud in case you have to cut it to fit the contour of the headliner? Without a sunroof there's a good chance you will have to cut a shroud to fit the contour of the headliner in order to mount the tv. If it doesn't come with a shroud you may be out of luck. A/C shouldn't be an issue on this, unless it doesn't have a sunroof and has the rear A/C controls dead center in the ceiling. In that case you will have to relocate them, stuff them in the ceiling, or bypass them as if you just unplug them all together the rear a/c no longer works even from the front.. Mike

So you drop down the whole headliner when installing an over head on a car that had a sunroof?Tell the Snap-On guy I'm not here!

I drop the headliner for certain audiovox custom kits that require dropping the headliner to get the bracket in place. I also drop it on the new F-150's if they have a sunroof because the OEM braces are extremely flimsy so I run an extra beam to strengthen things up. Aside from those I would never think about dropping a headliner to install a TV. I am talking about the main sunroof beam, and then the other beam that is about a foot or so back from that one. Not a main beam all the way in the back or anything. Mike
