VSS      dk GREEN/ YELLOW      ac      pin 13. blk plug, pcm                   PCM on passenger firewall. VSS on diesel is pin 11, 50-pin plug, at PCM lower driver's side of engine.

thanks for the help, i have seen something like this on here. the only thing is that the dark green w / YELLOW wire is #30 on the connector and according to dodge thats the 2c pressure switch. they are saying that #32 that is dark green w/brown in the #32 position is the output speed sensor. and also any help on which wire to use for my reverse wire hookup? still confused. thanks again in advance.

Avic-n1 in 2004 dodge ram -- posted image.

This is my 2004 Dodge ram 1500 AT... I installed the N2 recently... both the VSS and the Reverse wire are by the PCM.  I have a picture of my install.  The wire on the right is the VSS wire (solder & tape) while the one on the left (in the t-tap, got lazy) is the reverse wire, which is only hot when the vehicle in RUNNING and in reverse.  Again, the engine must be turned over to make this wire go hot.

REVERSE : White w/ light green BY (next to) the PCM       -- it was on the front bumper side of the plug that's on the fender there...

VSS:  Dark Green w/ Yellow    IN (connected to) the PCM

Ok guys, thats great info. I tried it on my 2005 Dodge ram, but my problem is, is when the VSS is hooked up I cannot watch movies on the go. If I'm stopped at a light the movie will come on and when I start to go it will go blue and all I hear is voice. Another question, the brain unit is under my center seat and the antenna connects to that, but I bought a longer 12 foot extension antenna from Circuit City and used that, but my radio stations don't come in very well. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the help.
