hello everyone I need a lil help im looking for the wiring color code and location of the vss for a 2005 chevy malibu maxx im trying to install a pioneer avic1 navigation system and to tap into the vss cable but i dont know the location or color of the wire.

your maribu is 2.2L or 3.5L? If 2.2L, sorry I have no info.

3.5L(L61), check C1 connector pin #22 brown wire at PCM(Powertrain Control Module) located at left rear of engine

compartment. Ask your Chevy dealer to pick up this wire.

Erikvargas, just remind... Please disconnect battery terminal before picking up VSS from PCM. Picking up VSS from PCM or BCM w/o disconnect battery may cause computer trouble.
