hello, i own a 1998 lincoln navigator and interested in hooking up a reverse camera. I have recently installed a carputer with a webcam as a rev cam but ive noticed that everytime that i turn on the cam, it starts to spike the cpu. it goes up to 90% resources so thats why im deciding on using a normal cam. I have purchased this monitor

hooking up a reverse camera -- posted image.
here is the site with the specs
the monitor comes with 3 video inputs and one of them is dedicated to a rev cam. also, notice all the power cables, one of them says 'Reverse' and it supposed to take +12v to trigger it to auto switch from VGA to cam input. so, my question is this, where would i find the reverse line in my suv? where is it located where its closest to the front? i know i can just simply tap into the reverse lights cause i believe those run at +12v but i wanted to know where it might be located up front? Also, this is the camera that i will be purchasing and here is a pic of it

where would u guys recommend me tapping into to power it? should it be on when the car is on or on only when i put it in reverse? If i DO tap into the reverse line for both the +12v for the monitor and for the camera, how should i go about doing it? do i need to get a larger fuse, use an inline fuse for both the line and the cam or what? thank you and sorry for the long post and the pic of the wires. I just wanted for the labels to be visible

Ok first find a good spotto mount the camera on the back of the vehicle. Run power and video cable from the camera up to the screen. Find a reverse signal wire either from the dash gauges, under the hood in the fuse panel, or if all else fails...Tap into the backup lamp at the taillight.Run that wire to the blue wire that says REVERSE on your screen also connect the camera positive to that. Ground the camera ground of coarse. Then just connect the video cable into the reverse rca on the unit this should do it
