I own a 1990 Ford Probe Gt Turbo.  I know I have a bad alternator, and can't seem to remove it to replace. I've done this before at least twice but am looking or an easier way to do so.  The last time, I just romove the brackets and alt. bolts, turned the steering wheel all the way to either side, (back and forth) and maneuvered it bewteen the right drive axle and steering rod. Dropped right out the bottom.  This time, however, not such luck.  I have never had to remove the cat. converter.  Can someone please help me with this 3-day headache? ’90 ford probegt alternator -- posted image.
