We need something that when 12 volts positive is sent to it, it will turn something on, and then when you put 12 volts positive on it again it will toggle off, etc.

Would a flip-flop circuit work for this? Does anyone sell anything like this? Thanks!

Have a peek at the two relay diagrams for "Latched On/Off Output Using a Single Momentary Pulse": https://www.the12volt.com/relays/page5.asp#lsp. These both use a negative pulse, but either could easily accomodate a positive pulse.

You could also just create a latch to come on with one pulse, then use separate pulse to kill the latch if you are using two separate pulses. https://www.the12volt.com/relays/page5.asp#mtc

Does this look correct to you for momentary positive pulsed to latched on/off?

Also, do you know of a supplier that makes a smaller (physical size) version of a standard relay? They don't need to be 30 amp, 10-20 should be more than enough. Thanks best flip flop circuit? -- posted image.
