on my 95dodge interpid i can go out and try to start it when it is cold and it will crank over and over and over then it will star tbut it takes a while when it does start it seems like it is haveing probs staying running what could this be

Wht afternmarket did you plug to it. Check your battery and alternator connections make sure they are clean when was the last time you changed them both
