low pass/high pass settings

Did not see a "How To" post on this so move if needed..

I run TMA amp, T2-500.1 on my pair of 12's in a ported box, I set the low pass filter at about 45hz, (filter is 40hz - 130hz) does that sound about right?,

I do not like "high" base at all, my old (way old) system was set at 75hz, I do not know what that is but I had some higher bass coming thru that was really annoying, but I don't want to miss anything, maybe 45 is too low, just let me know your opinions

I am going to run 4 each, 6.5 2way TMA's, 2-each Pioneer 6x9 5ways and 2-each 3.5" 2-way Blaupunkt or TMA, all running off the TMA t2-320.4, I should have a 2ohm load on each channel which should give me 80w x 4

question is,,,,,what do I set the high pass filter at?

I want some midbass and off course highs and do not really have the knowledge to purchase or install in line caps or coils, so what would the best setting for these be??? it has a low pass filter range of 40-150hz and a high pass filter range of60hz - 1.2khz

lastly - will the stock speaker wiring be sufficient for the high end speakers or should I run new lines throughout of bigger gauge? (lol, of course my first choice if plausable would be to NOT run new lines, ecspecially into the doors, since I have not yet figured out how to remove the panels)

When you get it all installed, set the high-pass on the front speaker. Turn the high-pass all the way up -the frequency, that is. With the volume turned up as loud as you'll listen to it (gain setting needs to be done before this step) on some music with alot of midbass, and slowly turn the h/p/f down until you get the speakers moving as far as you'll allow them.

Now, adjust the low-pass filter for the subs to the same frequency you just set the high-pass to.

I should be ok then, the rears are right above the amp & I will run good wire to them, the front I have ran good wire from the trunk up to the deck where I can tap into the stock wires that go to the door ( 3-4 feet max) but the heavier wire runs the length of the car.
