Here's the situation: I've recently purchased 2 Orion HCCA 10" 4 ohm DVC subs rated at 1500w rms/each. I've also just purchased a Soundstream XXX-4000d amp.  I'm looking to upgrade my car battery to possibly an Optima D35 (8040-218)

Note: big 3 upgrade is done. I've also got two other PPI PC250 amps running my mids and highs.

Is this Optima battery sufficient?

I look forward to hearing from you guys.

the battery most likely isnt going to last very long without an alternator upgrade first.

For the number of amps you're running, I would seriously consider a split charge dual battery, + caps + alternator upgrade.
