Hey i want some portable tunes to be powered by a spare optima i have.
Would it be better to use a plugin type stereo and a convertor.
Or try to rig up a car audio deck and some speakers.
Which would last longer?
Are those power convertors any good? do they drain batterys hard?
This would mainly be used for camping and such..
i am an idiot

Use automotive equipment.  Inverters work great, but they are very demanding from the battery.
