wire color dont match

So im helpin my brother with his 99 yukon. It has an alpine tv in it. And the wires were hacked up n connectors cut off.     Soooo. Im left clueless because in both the hatnes chilton and on here. They colors it says thatbthe speaker wires are arent here. N theres a purple and whit one. That i cant find what it goes to and a dark greay but no light grey.     Hopefully someone has the piece im missin to this puzzle. But before i start touchin wires i kinda like to know what im touchin. Haha

It sounds like you may have a system that has a factory amplifier. Look under the driver's seat, under the rear end of the console, or behind the glove compartment. In one of those places you may find the factory amp with the correct wire colors.

I came to think about that ladt nite.   Just read ur post.    It does have the factory amps.      It was such a hack job they did. It made it sooo confusin cus they grouped wire fr
