Hello everyone. This is my first post here, hopefully I've come to the right spot. Normally I would try and do this on my own with trial and error, however, this time I feel like I should get some guidance before I dive in.
So here is my situation. I have a 1983 Ford C-8000 with no factory radio, or dc power outlets. I want to have both! I did not want to have to cut the dash to install a receiver and never thought I would use the radio since I tend to listen to my iPod or Spotify so I came up with a different idea. Basically I wanted to have my amp connected to a Logitech Bluetooth adapter and be able to stream music from my iPad or iPhone to the adapter. I also wanted to add the power inverter so I could have a way to charge things if needed.
Basically I'm wondering how I should go about wiring all of this up?
Can I wire everything to the fuse box and then wire the fuse box to the battery? Should I wire the amp to the battery and then wire the power inverter and adapter to the fuse box? Should I not use the fuse box?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Below is a photo of what I'm working with.

People say that when someone says something like that, it's because they're jealous. But it still hurts. It hurts bad.

This is an oft answered situation, you should be able to find existing solutions (if not here, try mp3car.com).
In summary you'll probably want to:-
- take all power from the battery via appropriately sized & fused cable;
- have separate inverter and converter power feeds to audio etc loads;
- have all above feeds switched via relays (unless you turn the loads off manually).
Later you may consider dual batteries depending on usage & demand.

And use the relays to switch via ACC.
