hi everyone im a total novice when it comes to car electrical but id like to learn more about this new hobby. what id like to do is install two neons under the dash of the drivers and passengers side permantly without having to plug it in to the cigarette lighter. if possible id like then to turn on when the doors open and off when they close, BUT also have a switch that would turn them on when flipped. if anyone could help me i would greatly appreciate it. thank a million

you'll need to wire relay arrays to do this the right way.
If you have no knowledge of wiring relays, or any other electrical circuits, you may wish to have someone with experience assist you or do this for you.
Also read the section on this site regarding relays, and diodes too, since you'll want isolating diodes in this array too I'd think.
good luck
