I'm not too sure if this is the right forum, but I thought I'd take a stab at it.  A lot more 12V automotive people here.  Basically I'm trying to find a device that will allow me to send a PWM signal to a shift solonoid on my automatic transmission.  Something that can pulse between 10 and 70 Hz.  That I can adjust with a potentiometer.  Any ideas?  I've seen a few electronic kits but I was curious if someone else had some other/better idea.  Thanks!

you would probably base it around a 555 if you want a square wave...? 10 to 70 Hz is slow so the 555 will handle that no problem, just set it up for astable mode and use a potentiometer to adjust between 10 and 70
