I need to install a dedicated power line from the battery into the passanger compartment of a 2004 Chrysler/Dodge Intrepid, to supply power for some high-current radio equipment.

I'd rather not make new holes, but there don't seem to be many grommets visible from under the dashboard.  Am considering bringing the cable back inside the right-front fender and into the car through the kick-panel in the passager-side foot well, but don't know if that's the best approach or not.

Am wondering whether anyone on the list is familiar with the Intrepid dashboard/firewall, and could recommend the best route to bring a power cable through?

Thanks.

look for the cable for your hood release....usually you can get a small cable through there.......never run a cable through the door jam!!!
