My old ant. has a yellow wire w/ red stripes,a orange w/blue stripes and a orange w/black slashes on it.These are at the factory plug. your black ground it to the bolt that holds tour antenna bracket to the car frame

red hook to the wire that goes 12volts when you turn the key switch on (with the radio off)

blue to the wire that goes 12volts when the radio turns on

I am a former IASCA competitor.I competed from 90'-94'in FLA. I once took 4th place honors at the Spring Break Nationals in 94'w/my Purple 87'Hyundai Excel. It was one of the top cars 51-100 am.
