where is the factory amp located on a 1993 ford econoline van.

passenger kick panel may also be common ground

could it be common ground and have a factory amp?

I don't think its common ground. but if your unsure about fact. amp try using a tone generator to pulse a spkr if you don't have one a AA batt will work but I don't recommend the batt. idea cus' you can damage a variety of electrical components and not to mention deploy an airbag in newer cars if probing wrong wires. if you know its a spkr wire @ radio harness go for it
