does anyone know a good website or anything where you can buy 1/2" plexi at a decent price?? i found one but they wanted like $300 for a piece of 24" x 48". any help would be appreciated

Website? Do yourself a favor and call a couple of glass shops and get a price. If you buy from a website then you have to pay shipping and plexi is heavy.

yep, why does everyone want to buy online, when you can get stuff locally for the same price usually

I dont know if your gunna be able to get it a lot cheaper than that. For that thickness and size thats is a reasonable price i believe. But there might be some place that has a scrap that big or sometin. I would defininately call up some local places. I guess it depends on where you live. Here in Houston you can find just about anything under the sun at about half a dozen places in a dozen colors. Best bet is if you dont live in sucha city that you go to the nearest one.
