I would like to hardwire my radar detector to turn on with the vehicle. What is the easiest wire to tap into to do this? Will I need to use a relay or will it have sufficient power?

No relay necessary, best place to go is the pink wire under and coming down the steering column from the ignition tumbler. The Pink wire is +12v ignition on GM vehicles. Make sure you fuse this line with the same value fuse as is in the cig adaptor end of the cord that came with the radar detector.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
