I'm thinking about getting a dolby system for my car and would like to know if anyone can recommend a good combination of products.  I have a 2002 accord coupe.  Has anyone installed the new panasonic CQ-VAD9200U.  Any opinions on it.  I'm worried that it won't have enough power for my listening pleasures.  I don't want it to shake the earth, but I also want to be able to hear it with little noise, and over road noise.

Thanks,  Jovan

Get an amp to power the speakers and a subwoofer as well. Can't listen to a Dolby © system without a subwoofer or bass... can you ??

the unit above have powered front left right, rear left right, at 45 watts and center channel speakers at 35 watts.  with an rca output for the sub.  And built-in dolby digital, dts decoder.  The only amp that is required is for the sub.  Do you think that would be sufficent, or should I run the other channels to an amp as well, using the speaker level inputs.

Try this out with the above set up using the 45 w x 4 and using the stock speakers. Using the sub would help the low end but if you use an additional amplifier for the speakers, you would likely want to upgrade the existing speakers.

I have one of these in my vehicle.  I found it on Etronics.com for $1750.  I am pretty happy with it.  It is kind of hard to control.  It has no balance or fader, and the radio audio is something to be desired.  I would rate it about a 7 out of 10.
