i was just on the insaller database checking it out, and it seems to me that instead of performing the search by entering what city your looking for an installer, wouldnt it make more sense to enter your area code and then perform a search within a desired distance of that area code?
case in point... lets say a potential customer lives 4 towns over from me, and he enters his town/city searching for an installer, the only way he's going to find me is if he enters EVERY city/town name around him looking for a installer, and then he'll stumble across me. just seems like alot of installers could be missing out on potential customers with the system set up like this, not to mention customers missing out on the chance to find a good installer!
anyone else agree with me on this?

mxxmikexx, the potential customer could simply enter the state he lives in and narrow it down from there.... agreed there are a number of ways a search could be performed, but this is the way it is and I'm confident anyone looking for an installer near them will figure this out.
