Wondering if anyone can help.

The heater in my friends Chevy S10 works and cuts out. When we get in the truck and turn the heat on and the fan up the fan blows warm air. After it seems like it becomes hot the fan cuts out and cosequently does not blow anything.

We tried changing the resistor, that did not work. We pulled the fan motor and spun it to see if the bearing was shot it turns with resistance, we tried leaving the truck running hoping it would cut out and it didnt. @ days later same thing. He is on his way to work and the fan quits and will not restart.

Any thought's.

Thank you in advance - Mike

i've seen bad grounds do that. take a test light and grond it to the motor, heater motor, take the spike end and ground it. if it lights up at all it's a ground issue.
