If anyone can help, I'm experiencing a problem with a "service light"  that comes on about 1min. after remote starting.  I believe it to be a problem with the key sense wire.  The remote start works fine, car runs fine in remote start mode.   I have the GWR wire connected to what I believe to be the key sense wire, "a green 18 ga. wire that is located on the top plug at the ignition switch".  I phoned the remote start manufacturer and they advised me they haven't heard of this problem.  Thanks.....Blake

ok, I dont know if this will help you at all but i just got mine to work after dinking with it for like 4 hours, I also thought my problem was the green wire (which does infact have to be connected to ground). my problem turned out to be the passlock II bypass module (I have an Omega model DB-PASS-23, but the Idea here should remain the same). The instructions that came with it offered 3 possible dip switch settings and an index told me which dip switch settings to use... turns out they were wrong. so if your bypass module has dip switches, try other combinations (the "chevy cavalier/pontiac sunfire" setting is what works for my saturn)

Hi Allen, Thanks for the response.  I had to use the potentiometer style Passlock II bypass.  The self learn that I bought said that it wouldn't work on Cavalier, sunfire, saturn or malibu with factory alarm.  I have a new theory but I haven't had time to try it yet.  After reading the wiring diagram some more.  It might mean that it needs to see ground only before cranking which is what the disarm 200ma ground pulse does.  Whenever I get the car back I'm going to try that to see how that works....Thanks again for the response...Blake
