1994 jetta III electrical probs?

i had a turn signal out. so i replaced itand a while after i have no parking lights completely around the car but all other lights work i.e. turn signals brakes and headlights. but tail lights and parking lights are gone. fuses are fine. hmmmmm oh yeah!! i also have no light in th instrument cluster. HELP!!!!!

Did you add anything to the Jetta as far as remote start or security or keyless entry that requires the flashing of the parking lights ?

nope. nothing has been added at all. its all standard stuff. its just the oddest thing. i was hoping somebody would just say that it is probably a simple little inline fuse or something really obvious. i drive this car everyday and i know its not safe but at least i have brake andturn signal lights. and plus i know the cops are gonna pull me any day now for it.
