Ok I got the MECP Basic Installers Guide Friday, I didn't get to read it until Tuesday afternoon. I read the entire thing, and comprehended it, between Tuesday and Wednesday. Now given the random questions I have my girlfriend pick outta the glossary and the highlighted material I';m not 100% accurate(There are multiple possible answers, getting exactly the right one is about impossible.) and really, is the test 150 questions of multiple choice over that exact stuff? It just seems, easy, like too easy. I always was under the impression certification was really, really hard for like everything... I'm just curious. I knew most of the answers without multiple choice, with multiple choice the odds of me not slightly remembering is like slim as hell. Now given I spent a LOT of time reading over the tech stuff at like www.electronixwarehouse.com and then www.bcae1.com (Completely read, even re-read most of) and that gave me like 90% of my knowledge. The only thing I have to finish is Ohm's Law(I Hate laws, I'm lazy, and I hate formulas, I wanted to leave it until last so I could put my focus on it, but really, it isn't that hard...) I'm just wondering if there is like a hidden level of difficulty in the test. Thanks!

Sorry, since I can't edit...

Also, does anyone know of a GOOD practice test online? That CEA one is just like the study guide questions+2 to 5 extras really, and well, I passed that easily enough.

Okay here is the hidden level of dificulty in the MECP test, the test is which answer is most correct instead of which answer is correct. The basic installer test is pretty simple and if you miss a question on the safety section of the test then you should probably run and cry. The laws are on the test, not so much application but which one is a law and which one isn't. Current drops, resistances, and other applications are there but nothing serious.

I figured as much concerning the "which is more correct?" idea. But I dunno, still doesn't seem hard, atleast the practice is either misleading or accurate(that's kinda sad if it is.) Man, I really just wanna knock out Ohm's Law and take this test before new years. I don't think I'll have any trouble passing. If anyone has a nice link with better questions or is bored enough to post or even email me some good questions (tough, but something that is likely to be seen on the test) I'd appreciate it.
