Greetings,
I've read the information made available here, but am still having a problem getting started in a general direction.
I'm trying to install an old IBM Thinkpad into my 1995 Supra and run a carpc to a dash mounted Xenarc touchscreen.
The issue I'm having is with the startup/shutdown wiring.
I plan to set the laptop to shutdown after on battery power (lack of 12v input) for 10 minutes.
THe problem I'm having is how do I turn it back on when the 12v input is reapplied?   Do I need to physically disassemble the laptop and wire to the power button?
Last question, are there any pre-manufactured products that I could use in place of any custom-made solutions you all might recommend.   These are preferred to keep build time to a minimum.
Thanks in advance,
Aldebaran
