Of these 4 brands, what do you........................
Know about the name ?
Think of the overall quality ?
Think the overall perception of the brand is ?
What are you most familiar with ?
What have you heard thru the grapvine, good or bad about them..............
MB Quart

Thanks for any help you can give...............

Tim, are you after a retailers perspective or a consumers perspective?
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

i think of MB and Boston as being relitivly high end stuff. i dont know anything about th other two. i will say that i have heard that MB isnt up the the standards they used to be for the price. (like JL) that is the oppnion of a 19 y/o who is "interested" but not obcessed with car audio.

hope this helps. ~Ryan

I have been told by the local dealer that I used to work for that the quality control on the mb quart line has went down hill over the last couple years but are still one of the better sounding consumer level products on the market. I have always loved the sound of boston speakers and have never had or heard of a major problem with them. Obvously I am sure there has been, I just never heard of it. Unfortunatly like the guy above me, I have never heard of AVI and while I have heard of Macrom I have absolutly no experience with them and never really looked into them enough to give an educated opinion of them. From the retailer stand point I believe that the margin in the Quart line does exceed that of the Boston line, but by what percentage I am unsure of.

Tim, I own Bostons in my own ride, and they're great.  You may also want to check out Focal if you can.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
