stereo jack install

im lookin to make my aux input a permanent feature with a 1/8 in stereo jack in one of my blank switch plates. i was going to use a 1/8" jack i picked up from radio shack but the issue there was it is made for a PC boardand properly insulating the wires from eachother would have been a PITA. does anyone know of a 1/8" jack that i can use to run this? i know people have done stuff like this especially those with Carputers.
