I need to know if I install new gauges in my 94 S-10, if this will cause any problems with the computer. I will be removing the factory sending units and installing a manual oil and electric temp. gauges. Does the computer need to read the gauges? Thanks, Gary

The computer will certainly need to know temp, and some cars the computer needs to see oil pressure also. Now, I've seen where two separate sending units were used for temp.. one for the gauge, one for the computer. The same thing is possible for oil pressure.. check ALLDATA for information about your particular vehicle.
