If you accidentally trigger the passlock it can be reset by disconnecting the battery for a while(probably an hour) and then turning the key as if you were going to start the vehicle. Do this and then hook up the battery. If it resets you will hear a click in the dash when connecting the battery.

Yeah, it is much easier to just wait for 15 minutes then to wait for an hour with the battery disconnected Resetting Passlock on 2000 Silverado -- posted image.

You can also reset them by turning the ignition to the on position, it'll reset in about ten minutes, make sure you set the parking brake so the daytime running lights don't kill the battery...
Don't share too many install secrets with your customers, pretty soon they won't need you!!!!!

Not very often you need it to relearn the code though.

should only need to do this when you try and remote start it without the bypass in place three times.. Had a shop call me yesterday all in a panic because they were doing a remote start for the first time (they are new to remote starters) and they trigger the immoilizer.. told them what to do.. now, I'm a god to them. lol
