I have a truck with fiberglass bed cover and want to put my nav and XM antenna on the bed rail under the bed cover. Of course it will be mounted to metal but will it work or partially work I was seeing if anybody on here has tried or done this with success the cover is ARE brand if that helps I want the antenna to be concealed and not have to have it up by my third brake light. If anybody has any info it would be greatly appreciated.

Don't know how it will work, I have a 2005 Monte Carlo w/sunroof.  When I open the sun roof, the XM dies.  Must be pretty critical/on the edge, of reception.

I'm going to move mine to the trunk lid.  GM says "TOUGH LUCK", that's the way it is.  Told me to close the sunroof halfway in order to get XM.

Also, if you don't mind me asking, where did you get your xm and nav antenna?

thanks
