Anybody have any pics of their shops, store fronts showrooms. Any Lay-out ideas on how to lay out a new shop. I am looking into a new building and would like input from shop owners and customers on things they like to see or what works best for them.  It is basically a 36X80 building,  Front half will be showroom and a waiting room 1 public bathroom. Any ideas or pics would be killer...

It will center around your display and front counter. What have you got for that yet?

Jeremy, where are you located. I have a real nice new counter that I am not using. I paid about $4000 for it. Make an offer if it interests you. I would also make the front of the store smaller. You will need more space in the back for vehicles, tool chests, woodshop etc. It is far easier to make a small storefront look full as compared to a large one that looks empty. What kind of budget have you set aside for new displays etc.?

Here are some pic of what it looks like when you enter mt current spot. My displays are only about 5 months old, I have quite a few more display cabinets and racks in storage. A competitor of mine just went under also so I bought a good portion of their newer displays, cheap:)  My pic files are to large to upload and I can't seem to make them any smaller...I am just outside of Marquette, MI. My budget is fairly limited do to unforseen event I ended opening late last year, killed the 4th quarter. I am trying to have atleast 5k set aside, I am having  a meeting with building owner today to see if he will spring for the materials for remodel to accomodate my business. I have connections in construction, I am sure I'll have to pay for upgrade specific to my  needs. I definetly need a bigger shop than showroom, currently it is a nightmare to do any custom installs shop is tiny and odd shaped. I'll try to shrink my photos and post them.  Rob if you want pm me your e-mail address and try to send them that way, might work? Thanx again.
