Hello I got a 2000 expedition and i want to relocate my battery to the rear.  I am putting a yellow cap and red cap with a isolator in the rear.  Do I connect the alternaot to the isolator and the read of the cables in the engine to Bat 1?

I take it your adding an extra battery in the rear... and not taking the one out of the engin compartment?.. Anyway, with dual batteries follow the directions on the isolator.. Usually there are three terminals, 1 batt one , 2 alt charge wire, 3 batt 2   or if you want just run them in parrallel..
