You will gain mileage and efficiency due to the fact your wallet will be lighter......
They don't work.... it's BS.

A bicycle would work.   Just the basics clean air filter, tire pressure and some say you'll pick up mileage by using synthetic oils although I am not sure if it would offset the cost of buying them.....

The magnets do nothing to the fuel.  If they did, then the magnetic field created by the electronic fuel pump would probably have already done so anyway.

However, the piece that goes in your air intake has shown slight efficiency increases in some cases, typically in the range of 1-2 % better mileage.  It's odd that they show one installed on a Hemi engine, because the shape of the combustion chamber (hemispherical)creates a type of "vortex" anyway, for a better fuel mixture (more power, efficiency- more complete burn).  For the small gain you might recieve, it still doesn't justify the price.

Buy a diesel or hybrid vehicle?
Some of the chip tuning packages also increase mileage a bit (2-3 MPG on the HEMI.... bringing it up to a whopping 17 on the highway fuel ionizers and vortex's, do they work? -- posted image. ) Look into this.
As far as any bolt on mystery fuel mileage thingies? Snake oil.... all of it.....
Keep your car maintained with regular maintenence and tune ups. This is the best thing you can do for it. A partially clogged air filter can do some astounding things for your performance and efficiency. Keep up on your maintenence, and not only will your vehicle last longer with fewer expensive repairs, but it will ust plain work better.

There is no magic bullet when it comes to gas milage. All those crappy tornado's and pill's, and all the other junk that does not work. In some cases it make mileage worse. There is only so much energy in a gallon of fuel. Here are some tips that will help.   Tune up your engine. New plugs, plug wires, roter cap( if your car has one), other ing parts that my be old and worn. Air Filter, Fuel filter, pvc valve, clean fuel injection, or carb( older car) Oil change.   Make sure you don't have any vacuum leaks, or fuel leaks. You sure hate to see your hard earned dollar's dripping on the driveway.  Wheel alignment caster and camber, and toe. Proper air pressure in the tires too. make sure you have good  tires too.  Don't drive around with bags of bricks in the trunk. The lighter the better. I have 400 pounds of audio in my bronco, but that's a price I'm willing to pay.  Keep that lead foot in check. playing means paying. Buy the right octane for your car. Octane 87 is fine for most cars putting higher priced oct93 does nothing for you, but drain your wallet. If you have a high compresson motor then 93 does what it suppose to do. See lower oct fuel detonate to soon in a high compression motor( knock) so if it don't knock on oct87 don't spend the extra coin. Your owners man will tell you what oct you need. So be good to you ride and it will be good to you.

thanks for the reply. this pontiac guzzles gas like no other. it only has 30k mils on it. i think ima few hundred miles over 3000, so a oil change wuld be a start.
how about those computer chips taht are supposedly able to boost your hp a few. do those work? or is it just another knockoff?

They work, I have sell/install them for customers. I also have one in every vehicle I own which is 4. Its a noticeable increase in hp. Gas mileage wise I only saw an increase of about 1.5 miles a gallon but on my truck I picked up over 2 mpg, its a chev with a v-8 though. I did a air raid throttle body spacer and a knn cold air kit on a 06 hemi ram (quad cab) last week. The customer tried to hug me, he calims he gained 2.5 mpg..... He said he was on a trip and he managed between 19.5 to 20 mpg the whole trip...... So I think you'll see more improvements with a v-8...The biggest impact on mileage is as previuosly posted stay on top of your vehicle maintenance is the most important.
