Just a general question to anyone who has hosted or co-ordinated a car show or SPL or SQ competition. What have you done to keep spectators busy while the event is being held ? I'm having another car show in about a month and wanted ideas to keep the people who are there busy or occupied with something to do that will be fun and maybe even memorable, but keep in mind cost is an issue as this is coming all out of my pocket.
With that being said, if anyone who has visited or entered one of these events, what would you have liked to see or have done to make your time there seem less agonizing All Events Co-ordinators -- posted image.

first question are the shows going to be advertised? if so a local bikini, and or wet " T" contest with a small $$$ prize has been known to entertain.

local bands are allways willing to play for all most nothing

burn out contest will keep the wild one around for a while

a raffel will make sure that people stick around at least come back

food is good

side walk sale

keep thing loud and exciting if some one hits a big number make a big deal out of it, hype up the compatition

if you have a car the that sound phenomenal see if you can arange sitins , most people will be shocked at how well a car can sound

all ways have something happning, keep the party going. down time makes it easy to leave, and if events are planed make sure that people know when where and how so thay can plan and make sure thay dont miss what thay came to see

hope this helps an good luck with the show

bring back the rotary phone so i dont have to press 1 to proceed in english

- Dunk tank!!!!! Who wants to see Jeff take a dip

- Involve a charity of some kind, they too will then advertise the event.

- slurpee drinking contest

- super hot sushi roll eating contest

- 50/50 draw (of course proceeds to the charity)

- make it a car show and not just a car audio event

- involve a car club

- bikini car wash (with cold cold cold water)

- shave a head event for charity again ( you can be Dr. Evil Jeff)

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

I agree with Rob. Make it a family event. Making it a car show will attract a larger crowd than people that are just stereo heads.

I like the bikini car wash. Can we be IN the car at the time of the wash????
