Tried installing some 6.5" Polk dX6510.  Any advice on how to do this.  The magnet seems way too deep.   Should I just get rid of these, and find a pair that isn't so deep?  Someone help.  This is the 2nd set I bought....the first was way to small (I guess the size)....and now these are perfect in diameter, but to deep.  The factory speaker has a 1/2 inch magnet...extremely small.  In any case....some suggestions on how to do this mod would be great (if possible)...otherwise, so alternative speakers would be great too.  BTW, I'm running a Rockford 12" sub (1000 RMS), Phoenix Gold 600.2TI for the sub...and a Phoenix gold 500.4ti for the cabin (2 polk 6x9's...tweeters...and these door speakers if I can ever get them in!!!!).

If you have the clearance in the door panel, you can make a mdf ring that you can mount around the speaker hole and that will set it  off a little bit.  Just make sure that you have a little room betwwen the door panel and the metal of the door.  Good luck with it.  Brian
