Can anyone help me ?

I have just installed a directstarter cs423 (remote starter and keyless entry)in a 1996 honda accord ex 2 door.everything seems to work fine except the lock. Ican start the car with the button trasmitter and the doors will lock, and I can unlock the doors with the transmitter.(start, unlock, park lights flash, turn off the car all with the transmitter.) but I just can't lock the doors with transmitter,but when I press the lock button the park lights flash like it is locked.??

hey Neal... does this new system include an alarm? because i belive (if it's the "Special Edition" )the key-less entry is also a security system, so if the new install provides you with an alarm, then you could disable the existing one. it's a bit more complicated to explain, but i did it to a 97 Honda SE. and i could let you know exactly what i did so you could avoid the great headaches that came along with the project. write an email that you could be contacted, or specify here and i'll post it 4 u.

Did you check your connections to the lock wire? Sounds like a bad connection. Your lock wire should be hooked to a BLACK/ white wire.
