I need some help on a problem that I suspect I caused. I recently installed remote start and keyless entry in my 99 honda accord ex v6. I was attempting to find the power trunk release (which was supposed to be a WHITE/ red wire) and I realized I had a positive trigger release and the remote start was negative trigger. I wired the relay I needed and connected the relay output to the wrong wire under the dash (+12 volts). This wire was WHITE/ red and it was the only one I had seen and I tapped into it right there. I was never able to locate the correct wire under the dash, so I ran the wire to the wiring under the trim piece and the trunk release works. The problem is Cruise no longer works. Everything else in the car does. The speedometer works, gauges, lights etc. I have checked the fuses and all appears to be good. Is there any relays controlling the Cruise and if so where are they located. Any help anyone can give will be greatly appreciated.

Check your brake lights. It is possible that the brake switch is out of adjustment. You may have disturbed it. Try disconnecting the remote starter's brake input temporarily. It may be causing the problem. The starter should be hooked to the GREEN / WHITE brake wire.
