is their a way to use a combination of resistors and capacitors to boost a 4000ppm VSS signal to a 8000ppm signal?
Basic story:
I have a speed activated unit that is looking for a 8000ppm vss signal.
My car only puts out 4000ppm.
I believe the unit will activate if I go twice as fast (i.e. if it will activate at 25mph I need to go 50mph but i would like to boost the signal if i can.
I know there is a way i just need a formula or an good example.
is any of his making sense to anyone????
is there anyone with some experience that can help???

You wont easily convert a 4000 PPM to 8000 PPM but most cruise controls will have adjustment to cater for the lower PPM, check out the installation book. Audiovox is adjusted by the little switches inside the controlcard on the end of the servo unit. What make is the unit you are trying to use?  Dave.

4000ppm to 8000ppm conversion, how to? -- posted image.
here is is after it was just about done:
4000ppm to 8000ppm conversion, how to? -- posted image.
I have yet to see if it works but it is a simple clock doubler.
